A family which has returned from France was looted by three dacoits, dressed in Customs uniform within the jurisdiction of Rawat police.
According to media reports, three armed dacoits dressed in Customs uniform and riding on a car intercepted a family including Muhammad Sarwar, Adil Hussain and others at midnight on GT road in front of Rawat police station. The dacoits held them hostage and looted foreign currency worth million of rupees including 1200 Euros and fled from the scene. The robbers were equipped with wireless set and pistols. The police have registered a case and launched investigation.
