At least 19 persons fell ill after eating unhygienic food separately in Karachi and Lahore.
Five women fell unconscious after they were served unhygienic food in Dhamiyal Shahnakhati area in Karachi on Wednesday before being rushed to Jinnah Hospital. Doctors stated their condition to be critical.
Meanwhile, the health of at least 14 persons deteriorated after they were served sub-standard meals at a wedding ceremony in Shahid Sultan area in Lahore. They were rushed to Civil Hospital and provided with medical treatment.
The police have launched investigations into the incidents.
However, no arrest has been made till the filing of this report.
