The federal government would spend Rs 1.4 billion on providing scholarships to talented students of FATA.
Sources of FATA secretariat informed while speaking in a government-run radio programme that students from Class V to Class XII are being provided regular scholarships so that they could continue their education.
More than 3,000 tribal students are benefiting from this programme, they added.
