Bilawal expresses grief over train accident deaths

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday expressed grief and sorrow over the deaths of 17 passengers and injuries to many others in a tragic railway accident in Karachi this morning.

Fareed Express coming from Lahore was halted at Jumma Goth railway station when Zakaria Express coming from Multan collided with it from rear due to wrong signal. Three bogies of both trains were completely damaged. At least two carriages from the trains overturned due to the collision.

He said that the train accidents can be averted with better management of signal systems and technical coordination. Bilawal sympathised with those who lost their family members in the railway collision and asked for the best medical treatment to those injured in the mishap.
