A woman committed suicide due to domestic disputes by consuming poisonous powder here on Sunday.
Police said that a woman after an exchange of hot words with her husband consumed poison in Kundi area of Dunyapur, district Lodhran.
She was rushed to hospital in critical condition but expired despite all out efforts by the medical staff to save her life.
The body was handed over to heirs following postmortem.
