LAHORE: A bride-to-be committed suicide on Thursday following a quarrel over dowry.
According to details, the incident happened in Chuhang, where 20-year-old Mahwish, after a quarrel with her parents for not giving her dowry, ate poisonous pills two days prior to her wedding.
Every year, the inability to arrange dowry drives many poor to end their life.
