POL prices likely to be slashed next month

The government is expected to cut prices of petroleum products from September 1.

According to sources, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has suggested the decrease of Rs 2.60 per litre for petrol in the proposed summary.

The OGRA has suggested the decrease of Rs 4.35 per litre.

Furthermore, price of High Speed Diesel is expected to be reduced by Rs 3.46 per litre, Kerosene Oil by Rs 2.80 per litre, HOBC Rs 4.35 per litre.
