A wildlife team with the help of Customs authorities recovered 50 pigeons from a passenger at Allama Iqbal International Airport and imposed a fine on him.

A team was constituted by Punjab Wildlife & Parks Director General Khalid Ayaz Khan which recovered 50 pigeons from Tariq Mahmood Bhatti, a resident of Kaleywala area of Wazirabad. He had brought the pigeons from Kuwait illegally. The raiding team, taking action against the passenger, imposed Rs 35,000 fine on him under the Wildlife Act.
