A policeman was killed and another wounded when armed men attacked a police picket here on Wednesday.
According to police officials, unidentified attackers opened fire at the policemen deployed at a picket established in Allama Iqbal Town, killing one and leaving another injured.
The assailants managed to flee from the scene after the attack. The dead and the injured cops were shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment.
