Following the confessional statement of former People’s Peace Committee chief and Lyari gang war ringleader Uzair Baloch, several influential personalities of Sindh could be brought under investigation.
Sources said that law enforcement agencies had increased the scope of interrogation and had also gained access to the records of People’s Peace Committee chief’s political meetings and their goals.
“Political personalities have met many times with the Lyari gang war ringleader to end the war in Lyari,” sources said.
“Uzair Baloch has also made revelations regarding NATO’s weapons supplies reaching Lyari with the backing of important political leaders,” the sources added.
