As many as eight detained officials of CDA have given Rs. 1 lac each to the authorities of Adiala Jail to enjoy the luxurious facilities in the prison.
The jail authorities have ensured all facilities to CDA officials.
Sources told that the detained CDA’s officials ensured the jail authorities to allot them costly plot in posh sectors of the capital soon and kiosks (cabin) after their reinstatement at concerned posts.
The detained officials of civic body after receiving heavy bribery have allowed them to use mobile phones, lab tabs and other facilities including delicious and tasty breakfasts and other exclusive dishes.
Riasat Ali Azad, former Secretary General Islamabad Bar Association (IBA) told in this regard that a mafia in jail provides every kind of facilities to corrupt detainees in jail for a heavy amount without any fear.
He further told that corrupt elements of the civic body decomposed the capital; now law enforcement have seized them and jail authorities have provided them shelter adding that if an individual in jail could get A or B class, he could get only the facility of radio and newspaper but the black sheep in jail were openly crossing the premises of law and constitution.
