The price of 20-kg flour bag has increased in the federal capital to Rs 745 from Rs 735 as flour mills increased the price by Rs 10 per 20-kg flour bag.
Flour mill owners also increased the price by Rs 10 last Friday. The mill owners were of the view that rising prices of wheat in the market warranted the increase in the flour price.
“If government provides subsidy to us on wheat, relief would be given to the masses,” flour mill owners were quoted as saying.
