Our bowling line-up, it seems, always runs into some kind of trouble whenever the World Cup is around the corner. In 2007, Shoaib Akhtar and Muhammad Asif were out for failing to clear the dope test. In 2011, Muhammad Amir and Muhammad Asif were mired in the spot fixing controversy. And now in 2015, Saeed Ajmal and Muhammad Hafeez got suspension orders for their illegal bowling actions.

When will the PCB wake up to have a backup of players? It should get all its players to take the dope test to make sure that no player will face the spectre of the World Cup ban. This will also save us from the mandatory two years ban in case the ICC discovers it later.
