Security forces Sunday averted a major terror bid as they defused 30 kilogrammes of explosive material found at a bus stand in Parachinar area of in Kurram Agency.
Per details, locals informed security officials of a suspicious sack at the bus stand. The political administration and Army officials reached the site and defused 30 kilogrammes of explosive material found in the sack, averting a major terror bid.
The security forces have launched a search operation in the surrounding areas.
In the meanwhile, lauding the timely action of security forces, the locals have demanded enhanced security measures in the area to avert any untoward incident during the upcoming Eidul Azha days.
