CHARSADDA
Unidentified terrorists on Thursday fired at lady health workers (LHWs) engaged in anti-polio campaign but they remained unhurt.
Police said that terrorists riding motorcycles opened fire on the LHWs in Sherpao area, Tehsil Tangi of Charsadda, but they saved themselves by entering a nearby house.
The attackers managed to escape after the incident.
The LHWs were on their way to the Rural Health Centre (RHC) Sherpao to collect the polio vaccine.
