Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Aitzaz Ahsan on Monday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was giving more importance to the Taliban than the state.
Talking to media outside the Lahore High Court (LHC), Ahsan said, “We have to think for the better future of Pakistan.”
He said that the PPP had never been in favour of dialogue process with the Taliban because they know it would give nothing to the nation.
He said the terrorist activities were still continued in the country despite dialogue process initiated by the government with the Taliban, adding that only one road leds to peace and it was a military operation against all the terrorists who were destabilising the country by terror activities.
