A massive reshuffling at the senior officer level took place at the Supreme Court (SC).

Sources said that the SC management transferred Registrar Office (RO) Superintendent Pervez Tarar from Islamabad to Karachi. He was accused of harassing the subordinate staff and for causing an unnecessary delay in the movement of files. He had been working as the RO’s Superintendent since a long time. He had also worked as the Judiciary Crisis Superintendent during Former Chief Justice Abdul Hamid Dogar’s tenure.

Administration Registrar Muhammad Afzal was transferred from Islamabad to Quetta while Assistant Registrar Maqbool Mangrio was transferred from Islamabad to Peshawar. Additionally, Data Entry Operator Imtiaz Omar and his wife Hina were transferred from Islamabad to Peshawar.

Islamabad RO’s Former Superintendent was replaced by Jan Murawwat while Deputy Registrar Khalid Mehmood was transferred from Peshawar’s registry to Islamabad’s principal seat.
