At least three policemen were killed on Sunday in an attack on a police checkpost in Kandhkot.
According to details, unidentified men fired at the Sameja checkpost, killing three police officials, including Amir Baksh, Rafiq Nasirani and Ghulam Yaseen Sheikh.
The assailants fled the scene, taking away the weapons of the martyred policemen.
According to police sources, four days ago, Saltoo, a gang of dacoits, had threatened to attack police officials in the area.
