Pakistan Air Force (PAF) chief Tahir Rafique Butt said on Wednesday that PAF was the first line of defence and its each and every member was a real combatant, ready to counter any internal or external aggression and rise to the occasion as and when required.
While interacting with the Airmen during his visit to an operational base of the PAF, he praised their level of motivation in performing the assigned tasks.
He also stressed that safety and maintenance of the precious state-of-the-art equipment was our collective responsibility and this could be achieved through concerted training, thorough knowledge and following the procedures religiously.
The air chief expressed his satisfaction that PAF has attained its niche among the modern Air Forces of the world and emphasised that dedicated efforts must continue to maintain this level of professional excellence to provide an assured aerial defense to the country.
