Six civilians were killed and four others sustained injuries when a roadside bomb ripped through their vehicle in Afghanistan’s central province of Uruzgan on Sunday.

The early morning blast took place in the Chura district, a statement from the governor’s house media centre said.

The injured who belonged to the Gizab district were taken to the GardezCivilHospital with two them in critical condition, the statement said.

It accused the Taliban of planting the bomb that inflicted casualties on civilians.
