The RA Bazaar and Airport Police on Saturday raided various sheesha centres and arrested nine offenders.
On a tip off, the RA Bazaar Police launched an operation against sheesha consumption, arresting Imran, Mehtab, Rahees and Bilal for sheesha smoking. They also recovered 18 hookahs, 10 boxes of files, one box of coals and six smoking pipes.
Furhter, the Airport Police raided in a sheesha center on Dhoke Chaudhrian Road and arrested Omer, Ali Shah, Arsalan, Shahid, and Zara for sheesha smoking.
Cases have been registered against the accused and investigations are underway.
