CTP launches operation against one-wheelers, 10 held

The City Traffic Police on the directives of Rawalpindi Chief Traffic Officer Syed Ishtiaq Hussain Shah launched a grand operation against one-wheelers on Friday, confiscating 9 motorcycles and detaining 10 one-wheelers.

“The special drive was launched to curb this dangerous activity,” Chief Traffic Officer, Superintendent Police Syed Ishtiaq Hussain Shah said.

He said the city traffic police took a stern action against the one-wheelers.

Shah said those who would indulge in one-wheeling would be fined heavily.

“Their motorcycles would be also impounded in various police stations of the city,” he added.

The SP said traffic police officers were being issued special directives to keep a vigilant eye on one-wheelers so that action could be taken against them in accordance with the law.
