A PIA flight PK-605 destined for Gilgit, with Governor GB on board, met an accident at Islamabad airport on Friday morning.
According to reports‚ one of the tyres of the plane caught fire and the plane skidded off the runway. However‚ all the passengers and crew remained safe.
The passengers also included Governor Gilgit-Baltistan and Home Secretary.
The passengers were later sent to Gilgit through another flight.
