Medium intensity tremors were felt in Muzaffarabad and its surrounding areas early Friday morning.
According to the met department, the earthquake was measured at 4.7 on the Richter scale and its epicenter was 50 kilometers east of Abbottabad.
The temblors were also reported from Chakothi, Bagh, Dir and other areas.
No loss of life was reported till the filing of the report.
