Yasin named new defence secy

The federal government has decided to appoint former Corps Commander Peshawar, Lt General (r) Asif Yasin Malik as the new defence secretary, Geo News reported. According to an official statement, his predecessor, Nargis Sethi, who held the additional charge of defence secretary, will continue serving as secretary Cabinet Division. A notification in this regard would soon be issued.
