Four cases were registered against Bashir Qureshi, Chairman Jiay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) in Steel Town Police Stations while on the other hand, protests are continuing in Sindh against his arrest.
JSQM gave a strike call for three days in Sindh province but it proved ineffective in Karachi as the people in provincial capital did not give any response to the call and the transport was on the road and all the offices remained opened as per routine in the city, however in interior Sindh, successful strike was observed .
It is pertinent to mention here that Bashir Qureshi was arrested by Rangers, when illegal arms were recovered from his vehicle on Thursday.
