KARACHI: In the backdrop of a crackdown against various factions of the separatist Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), more members on Thursday announced their decision to part their ways from the party during a press conference in Tando Khan.

The workers said that they are moving away from nationalistic politics and would join mainstream parties to work for ‘pro-Pakistan politics’.

Zahid Jiskani, Ali Jiskani, Akhter Jiskani, Sain Bux Jiskani, Soomar Jiskani, Ali Talpur, Ashique Soomro, Javed Jiskani, Mushtaq Jiskani and Ahsan Chandio were few of this who abandoned the party.

JSQM Tando Khan President Zahid Jiskani two other workers announced their departure after signing an undertaking and “giving it to the concerned functionaries”.

More party leaders are expected to soon announce their departure from the party. It is worth mentioning that a surge in the number of those leaving the party has been seen after many JSQM political activists had gone missing.
