Pakistan defeat India 3-1 at Sultan Azlan Shah Cup

Pakistan defeated India 3-1 in a fast-paced encounter between the two countries of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Ipoh, Malaysia.

India led 1-0 at half-time after Rupinder Pal Singh converted a corner for India in the 22nd minute to give India an early lead.

But Pakistan staged a mighty comeback in the second half, scoring three goals in a span of 8 minutes.

Muhammad Umar Bhutta scored the equaliser in the 49th minute.

Soon after, Muhammad Imran’s converted a corner in the 55th minute to give Pakistan the lead. And two minutes later Sohail Abbas scored to put the game out of India’s reach.
