Punjab changes salary, pension payment date for government employees
Punjab has issued an official notification revising the disbursement date for government employees’ salaries and pensioners’ pensions, moving payments earlier to ensure timely funds and smooth financial arrangements.
LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced a revised date for the disbursement of salaries and pensions to government employees and pensioners.
According to an official notification, salaries and pensions for the month will now be released earlier than the usual schedule to facilitate employees and retirees.
The provincial government said the decision was taken to ensure the timely availability of funds and ease financial arrangements for beneficiaries.
All provincial departments, district accounts offices and treasury offices have been directed to implement the revised payment schedule in accordance with the notification.
The move will allow government employees and pensioners across Punjab to receive their payments on the newly announced date without any disruption.
