Croatian FM arrive on historic first visit to Pakistan tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Croatia's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Dr Gordan Grlic Radman, will arrive in Pakistan on Thursday on his first official visit at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, marking the first-ever visit to Pakistan by a Croatian foreign minister and opening a new chapter in bilateral relations.
According to the Foreign Office, the two foreign ministers will hold wide-ranging talks covering the entire spectrum of Pakistan-Croatia relations, with a focus on expanding cooperation in key sectors of mutual interest.

“The DPM/FM and the visiting Foreign Minister will hold talks on the entire range of bilateral ties. They would discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest including trade, investment, visa facilitation, education, defence, IT and maritime cooperation. The two Ministers will also exchange views on regional and global developments of interest,” the Foreign Office spokesperson said in a press release.
During his visit, Dr Grlic Radman is also scheduled to call on the country's top leadership, including the prime minister and the chairman Senate, the statement added.
The FO said the high-level visit would provide fresh impetus to Pakistan-Croatia relations and help strengthen bilateral cooperation across a range of sectors of mutual benefit, while further deepening diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
