Pakistan, Italy sign Rs6.3bn loan deal for agriculture training
Pakistan and Italy have signed a concessional loan agreement worth around Rs6.3 billion to support agricultural skills development and vocational education. The project will be implemented under Pakistan's TVET National Reform Programme.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Italy have signed a concessional loan agreement worth about Rs6.3 billion for a project focused on agricultural skills development and vocational education.
The agreement was signed on Monday by Economic Affairs Secretary Muhammad Humair Karim and Italy's Ambassador Marilina Armellin. The signing took place in the presence of senior officials from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, the Ministry of National Food Security and Research, and provincial departments.
The financing will support the Professional Capacity Building and Extension in Agriculture project, which falls under Pakistan's Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) National Reform Programme.
