Man arrested in Bykea rider murder case

Rawalpindi: Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of Bykea rider Usama after tracing the case through technical and forensic investigation, according to a report by Express Tribune.

The case had been registered on June 15 by Nawanshehr police on the complaint of the victim's brother-in-law, Zubair. Investigators then pursued multiple lines of inquiry in a blind murder case.

During the probe, police examined the call data records of the deceased, local residents and other suspects. They also carried out technical tracing of the victim's mobile phone and reviewed evidence collected from the crime scene.

The investigation ultimately led police to the victim's mobile phone after it had been sold, enabling them to identify and arrest the main suspect. The arrested man was identified as Kamil alias Kami, a resident of Pathar Gali.
