President approves four amendment bills, names FPSC member
President Asif Ali Zardari has approved four amendment bills, the President's House Media Wing said. He also approved the appointment of Ayesha Humaira Chaudhry as a member of the Federal Public Service Commission.

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved four amendment bills, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by the President's House Media Wing.
The measures cleared by the president are the Carriage by Air (Amendment) Bill, 2026; the Pakistan Airports Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026; the Fiscal Responsibility and Debt Limitation (Amendment) Bill, 2026; and the Iqbal Academy (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
In a separate decision, the president also approved the appointment of Ayesha Humaira Chaudhry, a BS-22 officer, as a member of the Federal Public Service Commission.
The approvals were announced through the President's House Media Wing statement, which listed the four bills and the FPSC appointment.
