LAAM Fashion Week to return to Lahore for second edition

LAHORE: LAAM Fashion Week, described by its organisers as Pakistan’s first runway-to-e-tail fashion platform, is set to return to Lahore for a second edition in October 2026, with registrations now open for designers and fashion brands from across the country.

The announcement follows the event’s debut edition, which took place in Lahore earlier this year and featured more than 37 designers and brands from different segments of Pakistan’s fashion industry. Over four days, the platform presented a wide mix of offerings, including high-street fashion, pret, luxury couture and bridal wear, in what organisers said reflected the breadth of the country’s fashion landscape.

Runway linked directly to retail

A key distinction highlighted by the organisers is the format’s direct connection between fashion shows and online sales. Unlike conventional fashion weeks, many of the collections presented on the runway are made available for purchase online immediately after the shows, creating a direct link between presentation and retail.

The inaugural edition brought together established names and retail labels on the same platform. Designers and brands featured in the first edition included HSY, Ali Xeeshan, Nomi Ansari, Fahad Hussayn, Karma, Deepak and Fahad, and Sadaf Fawad Khan, alongside high-street and retail participants.

Organisers cite global viewership

According to the organisers, the first edition was livestreamed internationally and drew viewers from more than 100 countries, a figure they said pointed to rising interest in Pakistani fashion beyond domestic audiences.

Announcing the second edition, LAAM Co-Founder and CEO Arif Iqbal said the initiative was designed to make Pakistani fashion easier to access while strengthening its international reach. "The first edition showed us what is possible when creativity, commerce and technology come together with purpose. LFW2 is about taking that vision forward with greater scale and stronger integration." he added.

Organisers say the October 2026 edition in Lahore is intended to further widen opportunities for Pakistani designers to connect with buyers and audiences both within the country and overseas.
