Constable martyred in grenade attack
Police Constable Muhammad Zahir, injured in a grenade attack on the Se-ra Khawra check post on February 27, died in hospital on Thursday. His funeral was held in Peshawar with official honours.

PESHAWAR: Police Constable Muhammad Zahir, who had been critically wounded in a hand grenade attack on the Se-ra Khawra check post of Matani Police Station on February 27, died during treatment at a hospital on Thursday.
His funeral prayer was offered with full official honours at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines in Peshawar.
A large number of senior officers attended the ceremony, including CCPO Peshawar Dr Mian Saeed, SSP Operations Farhan Khan and SP Headquarters Ali Gohar. Other divisional SPs were also present.
Army personnel, police officers and members of the martyred constable's family also attended the funeral prayer.
