QUETTA: Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) Chairman Nasrullah Baloch has voiced concern over the alleged enforced disappearance of 38-year-old Abdul Rauf, a farmer from Chagai district, and called for his immediate and safe recovery, according to a statement issued on Saturday.
Nasrullah Baloch said Abdul Rauf, son of Haji Abdul Razaq and a member of the Yousafzai tribe, was taken into custody by personnel of the Frontier Corps and intelligence agencies. He said the incident took place at around 3:00am on May 29, 2026, in the Aminabad area of Chagai district.
According to the VBMP chairman’s statement, Abdul Rauf was later shifted to an undisclosed location. His family said they had not been given any information about his whereabouts or condition.
Nasrullah Baloch also said Abdul Rauf had previously been detained by security forces on Sept 8, 2018, and remained missing for nearly two and a half years before he was released.
