Pakistan Railways launches upgraded Awam Express from Peshawar to Karachi
Pakistan Railways has launched an upgraded Awam Express service from Peshawar to Karachi. The train includes eight air-conditioned coaches and has capacity for 1,234 passengers.

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Railways on Monday launched an upgraded Awam Express service operating between Peshawar and Karachi.
The inauguration ceremony was held at Peshawar Cantt Railway Station, where Railways Secretary Syed Mazhar Ali Shah formally opened the service.
The upgraded train includes eight air-conditioned coaches, improved seating and other passenger facilities aimed at easing travel for commuters.
Pakistan Railways said the train can carry 1,234 passengers. The first upgraded Awam Express left Peshawar for Karachi at 8:30am.
