Chelsea face Manchester City in 2026 FA Cup final at Wembley

The 2026 FA Cup final will see Chelsea take on Manchester City at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 16.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 3:00pm BST, which corresponds to 10:00am ET.

Despite both clubs having won the FA Cup previously, this will be the first time Chelsea and Manchester City meet each other in the competition’s final.

Manchester City enter the match seeking another FA Cup title after losing the previous two finals against Manchester United in 2024 and Crystal Palace in 2025. Pep Guardiola’s side, however, won the League Cup this season.

Chelsea have endured a difficult campaign, with managers Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior both departing during the season. The club currently sits ninth in the Premier League standings and is without a permanent manager.

UK viewers can watch live coverage on BBC One and stream the game through BBC iPlayer, with coverage beginning at 1:15pm BST. In the United States, the final will be broadcast on TNT Sports and streamed on HBO Max.

Prince William is expected to present the trophy to the winning captain after the final. Chelsea are aiming for their eighth FA Cup title, while Manchester City are chasing their ninth.
