Pakistan, China hold joint patrol at Khunjerab Pass
Pakistani and Chinese security personnel conducted a joint patrol at Khunjerab Pass in Hunza. Gilgit-Baltistan Police said the exercise was aimed at strengthening border security, cooperation and friendly ties.

HUNZA: Pakistani and Chinese security personnel carried out joint patrol exercises at the Khunjerab Pass border in Hunza, in a move aimed at strengthening coordination and security along the frontier.
According to the spokesperson for Gilgit-Baltistan Police, the patrol involved the Khunjerab Security Force (KSF) and the Chinese military. The exercise was held to further improve border security between Pakistan and China, deepen mutual cooperation, and reinforce friendly ties between the two neighbouring countries.
During the joint activity, personnel from both sides displayed professional capability, discipline and coordinated working arrangements, the spokesperson said. The official added that such exercises are important for improving security management at the border.
Border coordination exercise
The patrol was conducted at the high-altitude Khunjerab Pass crossing in Hunza, a key point along the Pakistan-China border. The exercise brought together forces from both countries for coordinated movement and security-related activity in the border area.
