From flex to FIR: TikToker Kashif Zameer booked for scamming CTD officer out of Rs1.9m

LAHORE: Controversial TikTok personality Kashif Zameer is back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. A fraud case has been registered against the social media star at the Gulberg police station in Lahore after he was accused of cheating a Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) official out of a staggering Rs1.9 million.

The complainant, Dost Muhammad, who is stationed with the CTD in Karachi, alleged that Zameer took the money under the guise of arranging a visa and travel to Italy. According to the official, the two developed a friendship on TikTok roughly two years ago, with Zameer even staying at Muhammad's residence in Karachi during that time.

Ghosting After the Gold

The relationship soured when, after a year of waiting and paying the hefty sum, no progress was made on the promised travel arrangements. Muhammad claims that Zameer eventually stopped answering his calls and vanished, leading him to realize he had been conned.

In response to the FIR, Punjab Police reportedly carried out a raid at Zameer’s residence in the Defence (DHA) area of Lahore to take him into custody.

A History of Viral Scandals

For those who follow the Tiktok nwews beat, this isn't Zameer's first rodeo. He is notorious for his flashy lifestyle and public displays of wealth—some of which have landed him in handcuffs before. Last year, Zameer was arrested by the Crime Control Department (CCD) in Iqbal Town along with 13 private guards. The arrest followed viral videos of his guards openly flaunting weapons in public, a move that sparked outrage across social media and landed him in trouble again.

The 'gold' chain in his neck was also proven to be fake by Fiza Ali on her show.

The Verdict

While Kashif Zameer often portrays himself as a high-flying "boss" on social media, this latest allegation from a law enforcement officer suggests a much darker side to his digital persona. If the charges stick, the TikToker could be trading his viral videos for a courtroom dock.

As the investigation continues, people are once again asking the same question: Why do so many social media stars keep ending up behind bars? For now, Zameer remains the primary suspect in what looks like a classic "visa consultancy" trap.
