Passenger grabs and pushes Air Sial staff in heated airport clash after 8-hour delay

Passengers travelling with Air Sial faced major disruption on Saturday (11 April 2026) after a scheduled Karachi–Lahore flight was delayed multiple times before being cancelled early morning.

The flight, originally set to depart at 6:00pm, was first pushed to 8:00pm, then 11:00pm, later 2:00am, before being officially cancelled around 2:30am. Several passengers reportedly remained stranded at the airport overnight, saying they were given limited updates and unclear information about alternative arrangements or accommodation.

Tensions escalated at the airport when a video surfaced showing a confrontation between a passenger and an airline employee. In the clip, an agitated traveller can be seen stopping and pulling back and violently pushing an Air Sial staff member as he appears to walk away, leading to a heated exchange between the two.

Voices in the background can be heard questioning the situation, with one person saying, “Kidhar ja rahe ho? mazak banaya hua hai?” as frustration among passengers boiled over.

The argument continues with raised voices, though the full exchange remains unclear in the viral footage. The incident has since sparked discussion online about passenger handling, communication during delays, and airline accountability in prolonged disruptions.

The airline has not yet issued a detailed public statement regarding the confrontation.
