 LAHORE: Pakistan Police table tennis teams delivered an impressive performance at the 61st National Championship 2026 in Peshawar, securing dominant victories against their rivals and reinforcing their stature in the national circuit.

According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, the Pakistan Police men’s team registered a commanding 3-0 win over the ASF team, showcasing skill and coordination. In a similarly emphatic display, the Pakistan Police women’s team outclassed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Merchant (KPM) team with a 3-0 victory, underlining their superiority in the competition.

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, lauded the players for their outstanding showing at the championship, terming their performance “exceptional and commendable.”

He said the remarkable success of Pakistan Police table tennis teams was a matter of pride for the department and a source of inspiration for aspiring athletes.

Director General Pakistan Police Sports Board, Additional IG Imran Arshad, and Chief Sports Officer DIG Athar Ismail Amjad also congratulated the winning players, praising their dedication, discipline, and hard work that led to the notable achievement.
