Balochistan launches digital one-window centre to facilitate investors
The Balochistan government has launched a digital Business Facilitation Centre to simplify business procedures and improve investor confidence. Officials say the one-window platform will provide licensing, registration and other regulatory services in one place.

QUETTA: The Balochistan government on Monday launched what it described as a major initiative aimed at improving the investment climate, simplifying business procedures and strengthening investor confidence in the province.
Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT) Chief Executive Officer Qaim Lashari said the establishment of the Business Facilitation Centre (BFC) marked a positive development in efforts to modernise the province’s business environment.
He made the remarks while giving a detailed briefing to members of the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the new facility.
According to Lashari, the centre has been designed as a modern, one-window digital platform intended to make it easier for entrepreneurs to start businesses without having to make repeated visits to multiple government departments.
He said all key services required for setting up a business, including licensing, registration and other regulatory formalities, would be made available through a single platform.
One-window digital platform
The initiative is part of the provincial government’s broader effort to streamline official procedures linked to business activity and create a more investor-friendly environment.
Lashari told the chamber members that the Business Facilitation Centre would help reduce the procedural burden on entrepreneurs by bringing together essential services in one place. The digital model, he said, is intended to replace the need for applicants to approach different departments separately for approvals and documentation.
The briefing focused on how the centre would function and the role it is expected to play in improving ease of doing business in Balochistan. The government presented the move as an important step in updating administrative systems connected to investment and trade.
Business community response
Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Haji Muhammad Ayub Miryani welcomed the establishment of the centre and said it addressed a long-standing demand of the business community.
His remarks indicated support from local traders and business representatives for a system that centralises official services and reduces the need for repeated interaction with multiple offices.
The launch of the Business Facilitation Centre comes as the provincial government seeks to improve confidence among investors and make business-related processes more efficient through digital means.
Officials said the platform would cover licensing, registration and other regulatory requirements through a unified system, with the stated aim of making the process of starting and managing a business more straightforward for entrepreneurs in the province. "All essential services, including licensing, registration, and other regulatory requirements, will be provided through a single platform," they said.
The development was presented during the briefing as a practical measure to support investment and modernise the business framework in Balochistan.
