iPhone Fold rumours reveal Apple’s boldest iPhone yet

Rumours around Apple’s next big move are heating up, and this time, it’s not just another upgrade—it’s an entirely new category. The so-called “iPhone Fold” is shaping up to be Apple’s most ambitious device yet, with leaks pointing to a book-style foldable that could blur the line between iPhone and iPad.

Expected to arrive around 2026 or 2027, the foldable device is said to feature a 7.8-inch inner OLED display that opens up to resemble an iPad mini, alongside a 5.5-inch outer screen for regular, on-the-go use. The buzz around the device has picked up significantly in recent months, with multiple leaks from well-known insiders, including Mark Gurman, pointing toward active development and a potential timeline that aligns with Apple’s flagship launches.

Foldable screens remain one of the toughest challenges in smartphone manufacturing, with issues around creases, durability, and hinges still affecting the category.
