Another SadaPay outage sparks further frustration
SadaPay users are frustrated as another outage restricts accounts without warning. Recent glitches raise concerns about account security and reliability.

LAHORE: SadaPay users woke up to another wave of frustration today as hundreds reported that their accounts were temporarily restricted without warning.
Social media quickly filled with questions: “Is SadaPay down? Can’t login,” and concerns about account security.

Some users, frustrated by recurring problems, warned others: “Main tou mostly SadaPay use krta hun or kafi amount account me rkhta hun. I think risky hai ye.” Others were ready to move on entirely: “I think it is best time to say goodbye SadaPay.”
The current disruption comes just days after multiple complaints surfaced online regarding unexplained negative balances and slow customer support responses. Users reported receiving payment warnings and seeing deductions in their accounts without any unusual activity.
SadaPay responded with a statement:

Industry professionals emphasized that while these operational hiccups can be inconvenient, they do not indicate fraud. SadaPay operates under the regulatory framework of the State Bank of Pakistan, and disruptions linked to external systems are usually resolved once underlying issues are fixed.
This marks the second round of issues for the fintech in recent days. Previously, SadaPay acknowledged a system problem that caused incorrect deductions and negative balances for some users, promising that all affected balances would be restored within 48 hours. “Our users have reported seeing incorrect deductions and negative balances in their accounts. That’s on us – and we’re sorry,” the company told Profit magazine, assuring customers that all funds remain secure.
For now, while card transactions and ATMs continue to function, many users are left questioning whether SadaPay can truly be relied upon for their daily banking needs.
