LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday held telephone conversations with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, King of Bahrain His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and President of Turkmenistan H.E. Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of Eidul Fitr, exchanging warm greetings and reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to peace, regional stability, and strengthened bilateral relations, according to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

During a cordial conversation with President Prabowo Subianto, the prime minister extended Eidul Fitr felicitations to the Indonesian leadership and the brotherly people of Indonesia. The Indonesian president warmly reciprocated the greetings, and both leaders prayed for peace and harmony for their peoples and the Muslim Ummah.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to further strengthen historic ties with Indonesia and expand cooperation across all areas of mutual interest, the PMO said.

On the occasion of Eidul Fitr, the prime minister also spoke with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain. During their warm and cordial conversation, Shehbaz Sharif extended Eid greetings to the King and the people of Bahrain, which were warmly reciprocated, said the PMO in a separate statement.
