Video Wali Sarkar shuts down AirPods trend people are blindly following
Video Wali Sarkar tests and debunks a viral claim that AirPods should be worn differently for better sound. His findings reveal major flaws in the advice.

A viral claim suggesting that most people are wearing their Apple AirPods the wrong way has been put to the test — and debunked — by content creator Video Wali Sarkar.
The trend began after a man shared photos on X claiming that users should insert their AirPods and then twist them so the stem angles toward the face, supposedly improving fit and sound. The idea quickly spread online, with many questioning whether they had been using their earbuds incorrectly all along.
However, Video Wali Sarkar decided to test the claim in a practical, real-world setting — and found major flaws.
According to his demonstration, achieving the “viral” positioning wasn’t as simple as twisting the earbuds. Instead, it effectively required wearing the left AirPod in the right ear and the right AirPod in the left — something that immediately disrupts how the device is designed to function.
He pointed out that this setup changes the direction of the microphone, pushing it upward instead of toward the mouth, which would make calls less clear. On top of that, features like head tracking don’t work properly when the AirPods are worn this way, further undermining the claim.
His conclusion was straightforward: while the viral tip may look convincing in photos, it doesn’t make practical sense when actually used.
The debate had earlier gained traction after Grok was cited as supporting the idea of rotating AirPods for a better fit, adding to the confusion. But the hands-on test highlights a familiar lesson — not everything that goes viral online holds up in real life.
