ISLAMABAD: The Iftar and Sehri timings for Ramazan 28 (today) and Ramazan 29 (tomorrow) have been announced for the federal and provincial capitals of Pakistan, according to both Fiqh-i-Hanafia and Fiqh-i-Jafria schools of thought.

Muslims across the country are observing the final days of the holy month of Ramazan, with fasting hours varying slightly across different cities due to geographical differences in sunrise and sunset times.

Islamabad

According to Fiqh-i-Hanafia, the Iftar time for today (Ramazan 28) in the federal capital is 6:19pm, while the Sehri time for tomorrow (Ramazan 29) is 4:49am. As per Fiqh-i-Jafria, the Iftar time for today is 6:29pm and the Sehri time for tomorrow is 4:39am.

Karachi

In the port city of Karachi, the Iftar time for Ramazan 28 under Fiqh-i-Hanafia is 6:44pm, while Sehri for Ramazan 29 is at 5:18am. Under Fiqh-i-Jafria, the Iftar time today is 6:56pm and the Sehri time tomorrow is 5:15am.

Peshawar

In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa capital of Peshawar, Fiqh-i-Hanafia timings place Iftar at 6:25pm today and Sehri at 4:55am tomorrow. According to Fiqh-i-Jafria, Iftar is at 6:35pm today and Sehri is at 4:45am tomorrow.

Among the major cities, Lahore has the earliest Iftar time at 6:12pm under Fiqh-i-Hanafia, while Karachi and Quetta share the latest Iftar time at 6:44pm under the same school of thought. For Sehri, Lahore and Islamabad have the earliest times at 4:48am and 4:49am respectively under Fiqh-i-Hanafia, whereas Quetta has the latest Sehri time at 5:19am.
