TURBAT: Armed militants snatched a police officer’s vehicle and weapons in Turbat, Balochistan, on Sunday, according to officials.
Police sources stated that the incident occurred when a group of terrorists intercepted the vehicle of a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in the city. The assailants reportedly overpowered the officer and his team, seizing the official vehicle as well as their weapons.
Security forces launched a search operation in the area following the attack, but no arrests or recoveries were reported immediately. The authorities have increased security measures in Turbat and surrounding areas in response to the incident.
