Bruno Mars Addresses Claims He Liked ‘Talentless’ Taylor Swift Tweet
Bruno Mars addresses claims he liked a tweet criticizing Taylor Swift, emphasizing their supportive relationship. He encourages positivity online amid the controversy.

Bruno Mars has responded after social media users claimed he liked a tweet criticizing fellow pop star Taylor Swift.
The controversy began when a post circulating online suggested Mars had liked a tweet describing Swift as “talentless.” The message included a video clip of Swift performing during her record-breaking The Eras Tour, sparking widespread discussion across social media.
Bruno Mars responds online
Mars later addressed the situation directly on X, formerly Twitter, dismissing the idea that he was criticizing Swift.
“Taylor has always been supportive and kind to me. Only love over here,” the singer wrote in a post responding to the viral claim.
In a separate message, he encouraged fans to spread positivity online, adding: “Spread love on these apps!”
Tweet origin questioned
Reports suggested Mars may have briefly liked the tweet before removing the interaction, though the origin of the post itself remains unclear.
The message criticizing Swift had been falsely attributed to the official account of K-pop group BTS, though it was not actually posted by the group.

Friendly rivalry in the past
Despite the online speculation, Mars and Swift have previously joked about chart competition.
In 2021, when Mars and Anderson .Paak released music as Silk Sonic, the pair humorously commented on Swift topping the album charts at the time.
Upcoming tour and new music
Mars is currently preparing for a world tour following the release of his latest album The Romantic, which arrived earlier this year.
The singer is scheduled to kick off the tour on April 10 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas before continuing across North America and Europe with several supporting artists.
Mars also recently performed at the Grammy Awards, where he appeared on stage alongside ROSÉ for their collaboration “APT.”
